Waternish Pods are located on a working Hill Farm in the traditional crofting community of Ardmore on the Waternish peninsula of Skye. Overlooking open farmland and the sea our Pods are the ideal place to simply relax and unwind or from which to set out on spectacular walks in the majestic surroundings.

There is a shingle beach at nearby Trumpan just below the ruins of the famous Trumpan Church. To the west is the spectacular costal walk to the abandoned township of Unish and the lighthouse at Waternish Point – a must do route for the keen naturalist, photographer or walker. Our area also offers some of the best sunset and night sky locations in Scotland!

Some ten minutes’ drive from you Pod you will find the renowned ‘Lochbay Restaurant‘ run by Chef Patron Michael Smith. There are also other eating places in Waternish as well as in nearby Dunvegan.

You can find out more about our area on the ‘Activities’ page.

Thank you for visiting our site and we look forward to welcoming you to Waterish Pods!

Please note the Pods are not suitable for children. Unfortunately pets and not allowed. The Pods are also strictly ‘no smoking’ properties
